Question Shipping Boat to the Caribbean?

I plan on shipping a 34' Formula down to Antigua during the fall after hurricane season, it'll be coming from Miami area. Does anybody have any good shippers in mind? The majority of shippers that I've found seem to ship to neighboring islands, but I have not seen Antigua.

I did do a quick search and found a thread that asked the exact same question, but I haven't had any luck in reaching out to the poster and replies. I also don't want to resurrect a 7 year old thread, so figured I'd create a new one.

No I haven't, I'll look them both up. I'm familiar with Tropical.

take a look at uship.com

I'm using them to ship mine. They give you ranges of how likely you are to get a shipper based on the price you pick. I picked about as low as you could go and my probabilities it said were slim, at least right away. I had a gut jump on it in 10 minutes, all 5 star ratings on him, insured, bonded, etc.

Talk to locals that have done it. I was going to ship to Curacao but found that there are some local fees that weren't advertised (and often needed to be paid in cash..) your results may vary.

Great idea. I need to head down there in a few months so I'll get a chance.
