Predator urine such as that from wolves, coyotes, mountain lions and even bobcats are available online. Order in a couple of bottles and spray them all over the raccoon territory. Within no time at all, you would have scared away these raccoons.
wtf mate

you realize how old this thread is?

how did you find it and what made you reply to it??

its always odd when there is a newbie who bumps an old thread out of the blue..

I see nothing wrong with bumping an old thread that has general interest. It's probably better than starting a completely new one with the same title.

Someone will bust your chops for not using the search feature.
The next guy will bust your chops for using it.

Worked like a charm when raccoons got into our chimney and shed. I put it on AM talk radio, I don't know if it matters or not. Safe and effective. It will also prevent you from handling or coming into contact with them.
They particularly dislike rap music. Just like me.

They will drop practically face first in it. They donít go far after drinking it, from what I have heard.

Some threads donít get old. It is an old problem that is always new for someone when they go out to the boat and see the damage they can quickly cause.

Went down to the boat yesterday after reading this thread, to check on boat and a little maintenance. Pulled the cover off and while the boat was relatively clean, there was Racoon fur and droppings in the cockpit. Fortunately cabin door was locked and they had not been inside. Guess I am going to have to devise a way to discourage them from visiting.
