WOW I just finished reading and posting on the "wettest boat thread" I got an idea, do to so much "Honest Truth/Hull Truth", WOOOO have you ever seen so much honesty and bashing and not taking of sides!! ie: "My boat is better than yours." Great thread.
OBTW: Not one mention of a Glacier Bay as being wet..
I'm interested in what was the worse riding boat you have ever been on..inshore or off it doesn't matter. Please feel free to sound off.
For me it has to be a Sea Ox or older Mako.. Honesty is always the best policy!!

Gee, this thread seems real up beat....I hope it runs for 10 pages.
FWIW - nobody mentioned GB since only 3 people on THT have ridden on one. I will let you connect the dots on that statement.

Worst riding boat I have ever been on is the 17' triumph, I think it is made out of plastic. It is the wettest inshore boat I have ever seen.

I've ridden in two GBs, one was OK but the one with Mercs sucked badly.
But the absloute worst is a Grady 205 Overnighter before SeaVee2 ..

While I admit that a Carolina Skiff is a well built boat, the ones I have been on are about as rough a ride as I have ever experienced.

I don't think you can get a "harder" ride than that Carolina Skiff. Come'on, it's totally flat... Also, if you dare try a high speed turn, not even an agressive one, you will skid out of the turn. In spite of all that, I do like the boat for its load carrying ability; for instance, you can plane and run fast with a thousand pounds in a 14' with a 55hp.

I was wondering about that myself...a HS 2800 would probably ride better than anything I have ever owned.

Unfortunately I have had to run two different Angler 2500WA boats. Both were twin powered and both were a real POS. They were frightening in their slap and pound in 2-3ft. seas. They both had awful bow steer on entry and were the wettest riding things I never want to experience again.
Both are '05 models and I just heard one had to go back to the factory for a broken stringer. It's a shame that something looking so good is so bad.
