Default Paramount Boats General Info/Thread

Seems like we've got several threads lately in regards to these beloved boats. I thought it might be helpful to us if we had a sort of "centralized" thread for discussion. Perhaps this will catch on as it would be nice if the bulk of the discussions about setup/performance/rebuilds were in one thread. As we all know, the search function could use some "filtering". As time passes, this could be the "one stop shop" for Paramount discussion. Please, if you have a chance, post some pics of your rig and a bit of info.

Ping Sundancekid Kid: if you have a moment, please post the new Paramount ownership contact company name and contact info. Thanks.

Good idea dazigg...
Although mine is not done yet so no performance numbers, I can post some good pics of stringer setup and what not. I know they changed deck and stringer layout at a certain year, but not sure which one. Obviously sundance kid is prob going to have the most to offer, however I know there are several guys in the process or rebuilding them right now with me being one.

"interior" 1995 Paramount. I know the earlier ones were two stringers.

Current mold owner of the 21 Paramount is Caribbean Craft in Medley, FL. Any questions regarding the new model, just ask me, as they are a little tough to get a hold of at times, but I can help with that.

I believe 1986 was the year they added the second set of stringers, this is something that should be considered. My dad had said that the early boats with only two stringers were a little flexible and I think they even broke a couple of them loose.

It would have to be atleast '86 as my hull is a July of '86 model and has the 4 stringers.

That's a good idea, I planned on doing that last night. I'll dig up some links later.

Flashbacks!
The original SunDance location, phone number, and logo. Many, many good times in that place. We were all (including SunDance Kid's dad) just kids.

Joey, if you have them you need to post some photos of your uncle's boat from back in the day, and of the demo with the teak floors.

I still have that 4' x 6' poster board of Rich's boat here at the marina. I have an album full of old Dixie Highway stuff (lots of Paramounts, Checkmates, and Sundance 26s), will start scanning it all and posting as I have time.
