Default Rudder indicator dead

I had some water accumulate in the bilge. The rudder angle indicator stopped working. I assume the send units? got wet? Where would I find them and how hard are they to replace? I do not have autopilot.

One scenario is that it is connected to the rudder. It could be the swing arm type that will be mechanically connected with some form of ridged wire. If that's the case, there will also be two wires connected to it. Try checking them for corrosion and cleaning it first, but the unit typically isn't water-tight, so you may need to replace it.

The hardest part will be getting to it.
