Most beautiful SeaCraft rebuilds I've seen. Great job! I'd love to hand my 83 over to you. I'm in the Keys. Be on the lookout for that one!!!

Thank you very much, it is appreciated. We will be in the keys over the next few months. We are in Islamorada and are often at Marker 88.

Now get some fish blood on those decks!

We will be down in Marathon at end of July, can't wait.

See you in September for the 100 hr. Later.

I took the old trailer to Float On service department in Vero Beach Florida and for $2200 they did a total front to back refirb. Looks like a brand new trailer in perfect condition. New axles, new tires, new wiring, new bunks, jack, winch, etc.

When I picked it up the frame was still nasty. I asked them how to get it looking better and they suggested I run in by the Commercial Truck wash and have it mildly acid wash. They do it all the time and it does not hurt your trailer. I picked it up and stopped by to have it weighed and washed in Fort Pierce at the Truck Wash. The cost for the acid wash was $12.00. Looks brand new, see pictures.

PlanB, I know this was originally posted over 2 years ago but I remembered reading it back then and I'm interested in having my trailer acid washed like this. I'm close to Ft. Pierce. Do you happen to remember the name of the truck wash where you had this done? Looks great!

It is the truck stop with Cat Scaled located there. They have a truck wash and will get the trailer liking like that for less than 20.00.

It is the exit just north of the main Fort Pierce exit that has both the turnpike and 95.

what a nice little boat!! and what a thread! skimmed through it so i'm sure I don't understand all the peaks and valleys. You really never know when you do something like this, but its funny that some folks were not giving r&r enough credit. I'm sure they had a good idea it would run good otherwise why do it? I do identify with your sense of adventure! Enjoy her!
