I think the seller should disclose the fact that this motor has been submerged.

Maybe just ask if they have been submerged in the "ask the seller a question section" and see what the response is. aren't all questions and answers posted on ebay for public view?

Asked seller and he closed listing instead. So my thought is he wasn't planning on disclosing that information?

well that's pretty crappy of the seller (IF his intentions were to deceive). auction was listed as item in boca raton. i wouldn't buy a cheaply priced 250 ox66 in that area for a few months at least.

You got more than I did. I asked a couple of legitimate questions, got no reply. I'm not convinced this isn't a scam just using a pic pulled from the net.

This whole thing has turned out to be very strange. I first found the thread when it was about 15 pages and read them all in one sitting. I loved seeing new info or pics as it came in. It has now stalled out and the only info that seems to be coming in is from people searching hard to find it. I miss it kinda

Just looked: "This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available."

Ask the seller some hard hitting questions about his other items. If he closes those listings as well it's probably a scam.
