Our work speaks for its self as all of NEMS true customers know. We are here for our clients 24/7 365 without any hesitation. We provide a push button contract for many people in the south fl area that we are also there for 24/7 which we are also on call during all major holidays and all hours of the night. I have actually been thinking about posting our company info on this thread and possibly will do so in the near future. We will be able to post more info Tuesday about the boat. Thanks for all of the support

Your sentence for not getting the Animal House joke is:
You must watch the following and be able to quote them verbatim!

Jaws
Caddyshack
Capt. Ron
Ferris Bullers Day Off
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
Airplane
Blazing Saddles

Now warm up the your VCR, get the Jiffy Pop going, sit back and enjoy.

We will want to see you quote a line from each of the movies listed by next Monday!

good list, but...CAPT Ron? really?

i'd replace that with 'vacation'! and add 'blues brothers', 'trading places' and 'the naked gun'.

LOL! I've seen all of those movies but for whatever reason I do not usually remember movie lines???? Limited data space available in small memory chip
I would have to say "Blazing Saddles" is my favorite movie in that list. The scene with the new sheriff riding into town is hilarious
All very funny movies though.

I dont want to take this thread off track, but Gotta agree w happyjack on this one. Capt. Ron is somewhat funny, but not even in my top 20. Ill add Uncle Buck to the list too of movies you need to be able to quote.

"Hi, im Buck Melanoma... Moley Russels wart...."

and signmansez... your penalty for telling someone to warm up the VCR is were taking away your 600lb sony 32 inch TV......

Now how about the Viking?

Im the one who reported the boat sinking on this site, and I got lashed at because I was a new guy who wanted to stir the pot. Call it what you will.

So one is automatically an intruder for having a low post count? I am not at the marina everyday but I can tell you this, there was a TON of diesel in that marina that came from the Viking.

I am surprised for the love for NEMS. If an old school THTer posted about some Yankee boat that had come down from up north and dumped a thousand gallons of oil that got on his Yellow Fin the board we be all over that dam Yankee. I say welcome aboard thanks for info.

I am bit of a gossip and would like to know the entire story. If I recall Coast Guard got involved and removed Sea Tow from job as they were not satisfied with the progress. I would guess they went after boat owner and let him know he needed to clean this up or they would federalize it and turn the 6 figure clean up into a 7 figure clean up. Owner is probably upset that NEMS allowed the boat to sink.

Im just speculating, but this makes sense. owner is pissed and feels that NEMS should foot the bill since it sank on his watch and NEMS says No Way, I requested extra pumps and alarms for the trip and owner didn't want to pay for it.

This whole episode was completely half assed from the first. No contracts, no insurance, no pumps (are you fing kidding me? no pumps!) You and I (the taxpayers) will end up paying to clean up these multiple and ongoing messes. I have zero sympathy for any of the parties connected with this fiasco and I do not understand how anyone could.

It's a free country, of course.

Now how about the Viking?

I included Capt. Ron because it has some classic one liners!

How did you know I had the SONY 32? That thing nearly split my side when it went to the curb a couple of years ago! Funny, it didn't last the night at the curb

I agree, Captain Ron has some great one liners in it and should be on that list.

This whole thing was doomed from the start. Way to much money to be spent out of pocket with no recourse if payment was not made, nothing in writing, no insurance coverage..

When it comes to liens etc it all comes down to lawyers and who has the better one
