There was a bit of sarcasism in my statment, but after a couple of weeks of riding up top, I am sure all the pleasentries of being on the water have faded for those guys.

It has been a truly epic trip to watch. Thanks to both NEMS as well as all the others that posted pictures and siting along the way. I noticed that he is running a Garmin. Too bad they did not get the G2 (I think) so that they could have the Route To functionality and a GPH 10 on those kickers so that they had autopilot. He would have about worn it out on that trip. Now I need to make sure I don't miss the rebuild thread. Any idea on a schedule for completion?

What's interesting in that pic is it has two sat domes in one pic yet the other it appears to have only one on the right side.

Good eye, I didn't notice that. Very well could be a different boat, the post refered to all the pictures as "his friends boat", but there seemed to be 3 as one had a dark hull.

One might be a dummy dome added later for aesthetic reasons.

NEMS - keep it up and good luck. It's been fun following.

Am I reading this right... those yammies spent the night underwater in SC and two days later pushed this ship down to Jacksonville??

Were they just pickled and ran or just hosed off, fresh gas and go?

Pretty impressive either way.

I'm with you on that, Yamaha O-66 wow. I too have been pulling for these guys and checking in on the computer even while traveling. It is certainly a statement for diligence and determination.
