Why do people want to talk about escorting this boat??... Not only is that lame... But you have no skin in the game... It's an honor u have no part of... Now... If they need a tow that's another ball game.

So, now that NEMS is a THT household name... Might as well tell us a little about your business... Being that people are a little impressed by you guys you might as well pickup a little marketing through this adventure.

Today's stick in the mud alert: Dude, the escort would not be stealing or sharing the honor, it would be bestowing the honor and multiplying the honor.

Now, back to the thread......

Talking about Names " Wanderer" was the name of the sailboat in the Movie Captain Ron.

So maybe this Viking has the right name already, Just Sayin.......

with a nod to the Brits, both real and fictional, I keep thinking the name should be
"Indefatigable". These guys just don't quit.

Peanuts are bad luck in a race car-Bananas on a boat.

NEMS, Since I sold my " Double Down " I have no problem if you want to use the name again. Granted the meaning of double down was different for me than you.

As in gambling.

She was refloated on tuesday by tow boat and after all residual water was sucked from bildges there were no signs of water movement. We finally passed our coast gaurd inspection 1st time today around 3 pm est and we were finally released from the dock. Look on wfmb news from myrtle beach if you want more details of sinking and refloating. Long story short we put alot of fuel and oil in the water and it wasn't pretty at all. We had osro on scene for 5 days cleaning the water and decontaminating the boat and all the spectators you could dream of having. Also by the way myself and the owners of wanderer love the name poll it gives us a laugh here and there which is very much needed in a time like this. Keep them coming we don't mind a bit. The owners like double down themselves. We have her cleaned her and got the engines running again, all systems back together. We're going to stop in george town tonight and get fuel then off again. Couldn't have asked for more were underway again boys and girls we will update day by day for a lil while

hooray!!!

Dude....the gambling part.....doubling down after she went down the second time...IS a gamble. It's what makes the name so perfect....double entendre....

For people not "in the know" that thing must have people scratching their heads all up and down the eastern seaboard.
