Triple Threat is a very good name...just not as good as Double Down.

I'd agree with this if it's a non-stop trip to the yard. Idling an ox66 at the dock is pretty unpopular with the neighbors!

Per the crew, they usally filled up in the morning, so empty barrels of fuel on the stern at night, and exhaust above water level. The night she sank, they filled at night so they could get an early start the next morning..a lot of added weight in the stern, exhaust is now lower in the water, water can come into the boat....Thats what I am going with as to why she sank

NEMS,

if you guys stop in Savannah at any point, let me know, I will bring you guys a few pounds of fresh hot boiled peanuts from one of our local produce stands! You just can't beat boil peanuts and salt water. Stay safe!

Peanuts on this boat? Are you trying to get them killed?

Good luck with the voyage. I think the Ft Lauderdale Boat Show should set aside a special spot for you and invite you to display this boat proudly.

I know the boat was in fresh water when it went down. Maybe it was sitting lower in FW vs salt and is this difference? I know it's only 2.5%, but maybe that was enough to bring it in the exhaust fittings with the tanks in the back?
Pure speculation here.....
