It is not floating yet. 7 air bags and its still not floating. There is now even more water in the bow then there was before they attempted to raise her.

From what I understand there was no automatic bilge pump. Gotta be pretty dumb to take on an adventure like this and NOT have a high water alarm. I could be wrong about the bilge pump and high water alarm.

I am also understanding that it started to sink in the stern.

wow, what a terrible set back.

I hope they can get her floating again and heading south for the full restoration!

You're right. A camera on this whole project would have been fascinating.

WOW i fully expected to log in today seeing the victory photos of the boat making it to its home in FL, sucks to see this good luck on getting her floating again, did you not have extra pumps on hand?

btw this thread is going into the record books one way or another

I am thinking once she is re-floated, get her on the dry at the nearest yard.
Then cannibalize everything you can salvage for sale, and cut up the hull and dump it in the nearest landfill.
This boat is cursed...no way would I spend any more time on her than what's necessary to accomplish the aforementioned.

You're all wrong. Those are Minnkota trolling motors disguised to look like Yammies.

What a terrible turn of events. I'm riveted to see what happens next, and hope they continue on.
