Default Yamaha 4 stroke oil

I am going to do my first oil change on a F250. There was brand new Mobile 1 in it when I got it. That is a full synthetic. What would be the best oil to put in it? Is Yamalube fully synthetic?

Nothing wrong with mobil1 as long as it meets or exceeds the required service rating (API).

Yamaha makes full synthetic and non-synthetic types of motor oil.

In a new motor I would not use synthetic. 100% or otherwise. Not until the motor has maybe a hundred hours or so of run time on it.

Which mobile 1 do you run? I'm thinking about switching to it. Have a link? Is this what you use?

I started running it in my F225 this year.....see noticable improvement in performance (which I was not at all expecting). First change was easy and oil looked brand new (yamalube changed color very quickly in the past).

I've been very happy with the switch and will use it for now on, barring any unexpected issues.

off the shelf at Wally World (or any auto store) and its MUCH MUCH cheaper than yamaha

I agree, seat the ring well first then go with Synthetics.....

I run either Mobil one (high mileage, it has more anti wear components), Rotella full synthetic t6 or Semi T5 (both have high anti wear components and alot of Calium to retard foaming) All three are very good oils... I change mine 80 to 90 hour mark...
