Default 2003 Evinrude 115 Ficht Ram Injection losing power

Hey everyone I'm a newbie on the site and had a question. I have a 115 Evinrude that the check engine light was going off but the engine seemed to be running well (I ran it several times) besides the annoying buzz so I replaced the primer bulb, the fuel water filter in the engine/and the outer fuel water filter, and syphoned off all the gas (it had alot of sediment and water in it). That fixed the check engine light. Now the engine is losing power like it isn't getting enough gas. When I pump the bulb running at at 5400 rpms it seems to gain more steam, and fix the problem but then a few seconds later without pumping the bulb it begins to lose power again. After I syphoned off the gas, I pumped the primer bulb and looked at some of the gas in a bucket and it appeared as though there was no water but it looked like there was a darker (similar to color of gas, just a tad darker) gel looking component floating throughout. Any ideas?

Sounds like the lift pump is getting weak. It's 10 years old and probably due for a replacement. With the water and sediment that you' found you could also have a restriction in your fuel system. Check the fuel vent for an obstuction too.
