Default Two Whaler's playing...

This is my brother's NEW Boston Whaler Outrage 32' with twin 275 Verados and my 1996 Boston Whaler with twin 175 HP Evinrudes. The 32 has the ADSS floor which made things a little easier for him. These we taken at Oswego NY on Sunday May 22nd...4' plus waves, 42 degrees and 20 knot wind. We never made it to WOT. It's amazing what 550 HP does Vs my 350 HP. My top speed heavy is 45 MPH his is 52 MPH. The 32 weights 8500# VS my 4200#. Bigger boats are better! Enjoy!

Uhhhhh it's not the size of your Whaler, but its motion in the ocean (or lake)! Well, ok..maybe I wish mine were bigger....

Great photos!!!!

I still like Mumbler better than that newer Outrage. Mumbler looks like at any time she'd be ready for a .50 cal up front, and 2 M-60s in the back to take care of some port security!

Can you tell us more about ADSS? I know you like it, I'd like to know more about how it works - is the entire deck "suspended" or is it jst the helm area? Is there additional shock absorption in the seats, or are all the "works" in the deck? Do you have any idea how many 32 buyers are opting for the ADSS option?

Not knocking the boat at ALL but $19,000.00 for that option. You have got to be kidding? Whay not just get a bigger boat that can handle the waves with the extra $19,000.00 ;? Just seems a bit steep to me.

But i will say this. Great looking boat you have there. I Know you will enjoy it.

Take a look at the discription above. The floor is actually hinged at the rear by the motors. The maximum movement (four inches) is at the helm area. You set the floor for firm, medium, or soft. As a person steps into the floor area it momentary goes down to adjust for the new weight. When you have everbody where you want them; you ready to head out. When you hit a wave the floor absorbs upto 40% of the shock...keep in mind that it's the worst 40%. Once you get use to the floor moving down each time...it is a great ride. In the harbor or when fishing; you shut the 'floor off', two pneumatic jacks support it from movement. This allows you to move around and step on the floor without it going down. When you ready to run; repeat the process. The neat part is when someone is not standing on the floor and the person next to him is! Keep in mind that the helm and throttles are stationary...you're controlly them while you're going up and down. Something like riding a 'bike' you get used to it and never forget. Pure estimate...10% of the 32's have them. This is the first production boat with 'the floor', I believe others will follow. I'd be glad to answer any other questions, if I can.

Mumbler - I'm sorry, I missed the ADSS blurb somehow when I was looking at this earlier. Don't know whether I had an IE malfunction or a senior moment, but I just didn't see it. Thanks for answering me without mocking me.
