Default Mark the Shark In Miami

What is the deal with this charter? Reputatioin etc. Seems like he kills every shark he catches. I thought most hammerheads are endangered, and not good eating. And is he just a tourrist attraction or worth the money seems like that fighting chair could be fun.

Some time ago I was fighting a nice bull and he turned to try and cut my line because I was fishing a weedline/board that I found at least a mile ahead of him. He screamed that's MY FISH as he went by. I loved it when I hooked the cow too and he almost had a coronary. What a major POS

Has probably been charged with more fisheries violations than any other human being in this country. Run Forrest run.

The guy is no good. When we first moved her, many many years ago, before I knew better, a vendor took me on a trip on that boat. Lets see:

1. Mates wanted tip before the boat left the dock.
2. I doubt we made it 5 miles from the dock, trolled in circles.
3. Caught an average barracuda, they were pushing really hard to get it mounted, the poor vendor from the Midwest almost did it.

Everyone has seen the pictures of him in the paper and the problems he has had. Stay far away from this guy.

Hehehehe - fortunately there are not too many like him down here. With his kill everything mentality, he is likely a transplant from somewhere in the NE. And I'll probably catch some flack from all of the good guys who moved here from the NE - sorry guys I did not mean you.

I read he had some sort of kickback with the trophy mount companies. He tries to get all his patrons to mount their fish when he could release them. Still, that alone is not illegal, even if morally questionable. He is certainly no sustainable fishing advocate. He has some other legal violations in the past as well. He gets no love from me.

You are likely new to fishing as "kickback's/commissions," or whatever you want to call it has been an industry standard since the beginning of charterboats and taxidermists.

How about Doodie. Hey it ain't too cool but at least it rhymes.

As for Mark the Shark, I don't know him but I've met a couple of charter guys that wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire.
