"Fishing Lady". My wife's solution, she being multilingual. Last boat was Piscator, which is Fisherman in Latin. Yeah, that's a kicker. There's 375 hp under the helm deck.

We still cannot decide on the name for our boat, and we have had it for 15 months now. We plan to repaint in the next year, so it will probably be waiting until then anyway. We have thrown around a couple names, but can't make a final decision. We have discussed "Orca II"(Jaws), "Shark Bait"(Nemo), "Frankenstein's Monster"(it's being rebuilt piece by piece and my husband is a huge Frankenstein fan), and "What Now" (Because something is always going wrong).

Two years ago I had a 2001 trophy and decided I wanted something larger and I started looking for a new boat. We found a 1996 proline 2950 that was abandon at a marina. She had sat in the same place in a dry rack for 7-8 years and was in pretty rough shape. We pretty much replaced Everthing on the boat. So I named it Phoenix.

Default Liberator

It took me almost a year to name mine. I wanted to name it after my father who was a B-24 pilot in WWII. I had pictures of airplanes in his squadron with the typical "nose art" of the era. In one photo, he and his crew are kneeling in front of an aircraft with a woman sitting on top of a tiger but with no slogan. I thought of naming it "Flying Tiger" with a graphic of the tiger and lady (bare breasts covered up of course to make it PC) but it just didn't work. Other choices were "Blue Diamond" and a few others I can't think of. Finally my son asked what kind of plane did he fly? I said it was either a B-24 Privateer, or a Liberator. My son said that's it! Liberator.
R-KID and Katrina like this.

We recently named our Key West 239FS after 14 months of ownership.

We went with "Magic Kind Of Medicine". It's a line from a Buffett tune - One Particular Harbor.

The boat is our "getaway" in the summer to the islands here. It gets us to our "happy place".

I know I don't get there often enough
but God knows I surely try.
It's a magic kind of medicine
that no Doctor could prescribe.
Buffett grew up here on the AL Gulf Coast, that song has some history for my wife and I, and she's in the medical field so it fit us pretty well.

I got the vinyl custom made/cut at boatdecals.biz. Very happy with the quality and speed of delivery.

Gofastsandman, I assume you mean where he was stationed. He was in the Pacific.

Edgewater. Probably doesn't make sense to you. Was the name of a seafood restaurant on Cape Cod. Saw your picture and your last name and it just popped into my head.
