I found the bad sensor (finally) that has been sounding the alarm intermittently for the past month The transmission heat sensor was buzzing long enough at the dock for me to track it down. Buzzed when it was stone cold.........................................new one, $166

Gettin' gas today............... for fishin' this weekend, hopefully.

Changed out the brake pads. The brakes are Kodiak SS and I change the pads out every two years, no matter the condition. This gives me a chance to inspect and relube and retorque everything.

Trying to get my new PowerPole blade to work. Been rigged and rerigged 3 times and still has issues coming up. First two rigs allowed the hydraulic lines to get kinked. Now they think its the main board in the unit. A new board was sent to my installer a couple weeks ago, but cant get him to the marina to replace it. If that doesn't fix it , guess what its going back to Power Pole.

We bought our new Hurricane SD2400 OB yesterday, so we're sitting here looking at it and asking why Saturday's forecast for Fairhope, AL is 32°/48°. You boys up north may not mind boating in these temps, but down here on the Gulf Coast, we tend to like it about 25° warmer.
