Going to be pulling the rear deck off my skiff and redoing the steering system once I get home from work.

Where do you store your boat?

I hooked my steering hoses back up after adding an autopilot.

I had to do it three times because the first time I thought I had it wrong.

Reminded me of Forest Gump, "stupid is as stupid does"

The boat is in Pompano Beach....I went out 2 weeks ago and there was no Oil so they moved me....I have never really had an issue with them other than that in 2 years.

Just installed Furuno UHD radar --- hoping to get out on the water today to try and figure out radar overlay on the Navnet.

My problem-- fog is so thick in Seattle right now that I can't see my boat out in the driveway. Probably not the best of conditions to go tune a new radar

Also, just installed Furuno 587---going to test it out on the Airmar P66, but already know I'll have to belly up to the bar for a 1Kw transducer to really make that 587 shine---don't want to hang a shoe-box off my transom, don't want to drill a hole in the bottom of my boat....decisions, decisions...

Previous owner installed a aftermarket splash rail, bolted thru the hall & glued on the bow at the water line. 11 bolts for each rail, At each bolt the rail cracked, cut the rail down the center, removing the heads of the bolts, Pried the remaining rail away from the hall, cut & ground the bolts 3/16 into the hull, patching hall, luckily it it is the bottom paint area.
