Looking at a little sister Jon for her. I need a small boat for the rivers. Want to go after cats and hit the shad runs.

Stared at it sitting on the trailer wondering if I should take it to my local mechanics shop or have some of my mechanic friends do a "shade-tree mechanic" job on it. My gear case busted on me some weeks ago. To top it off, my trailer was busted when it happened. So the boat sat in the water for nearly a month while waiting on a new axle from Ranger. It's been on the trailer for almost two weeks now. I don't know how y'all Northerners do it! I've been without my boat for a lil' over a month and I'm going nuts. If I had to wait for 3-4 months or half a year without my boat would drive me insane. Thank God I don't have to deal with snow where I live.

Where the hell was that oyster bed? i have paddleboarded a lot around there - guess out in some of the back waters there is a bunch of beds but damn! that sucks.

Took the Cruiser out for a shakedown cruise, found a couple of glitches.
All in all she did pretty good for a 38 yr. old.
P.S. Remove rods from rocket launchers before putting it back under the shad!

replaced fuel line and filter and took it out for a shakedown. ran like a top. not bad for a 15 yr old sea fox with a pos merc hangin off the back.

No kidding. In all the pictures you have posted I have never really noticed a boat anywhere in there.

Hauled her out of the wooded end of my lot, and "PLUNKED HER ASS" right in the dead center of the driveway!

Christmas morning hours away for me!

Christmas morning at last! Never happier to see a boat that needs scubbing after the long mental torchering we took up here in Boston this winter...happy to dawn the bucket and brush to clean on the driveway for a day or two.

Hi for some reason the site isn't allowing me to post a new thread.
I have an incredibly rusty old shrip boat, in some areas the rust is essentially filo pastry, flaking something hectic.
How should I go about removing it and painting something over to prevent and protect?
Much appreciated!

Edit:
Also would like to make it smart and smooth so would like to fill areas. Product suggestions?

Yesterday, we went out to Deveaux Bank with friends. A beautiful day, calm water and great time with friends!
