I cleaned the stainless bow rail and waxed some of the cockpit fiberglass.

I also bought $100 worth of bait at West Marine, using a $20 off a $100 purchase coupon............does that count?

Oh yeah........I also put in 40 gallons of gas.

You could have dropped Paul's name (from Paul & Young Ron) and got $20 off the purchase and saved your coupon for next time.

Spent 12 hrs disassembling and descaling the bilge manifolds and then serviced the bilge eductor . Walked right out on the back fantail tonite and caught a slot limit snook and two keeper seatrout in my first three casts under the ships lights . Bad start .... good ending .

Looked at it as I walked out of the garage this morning and apologized for the fact that it wont get used this weekend. It gets sad if it goes more than a week between uses.

Thought about how much it was going to cost to replace air filters and have the turbos, aftercoolers and heat exchangers cleaned! Oh well, never saw a luggage rack on a hearse.

Looking at it with that big tarp over it for the winter. Time to move it to my friends heated barn so I can install a few things to get ready for next spring.

And, today, well it was like when you hear the glove snap on to the doctor's hand behind you and he says "this may cause a little discomfort.." as I found out what a new heat exchanger and fresh water pump (at 4000 hours, it was their time) and all the accoutrements ("as long as we're in here why don't we go ahead and ____" are going to run.

Still, as the wife likes to say, it's cheaper than psychotherapy!

getting the regulator all prettied up and finished the new brakes on the trailer.

Had it about ready to clear coat after 2 coats of base.. Put some acetone on to wipe it and dry it and the paint dissolved. I guess 8hrs in humid weather isn't enough to cure it.

Did something I never thought I would do. Zip tied about 2000 LED China Christmas lights for the Palm Coast boat parade for tomorrow night We don't have one Christmas outside light on the house but the wife is happy and it was about as involved as I could get for Christmas lights

I am reluctant to say the boat looks great with the lights - a little to disco Christmas look, but pretty cool as much as I hate to admit itHave it hooked up on a wireless remote so I can shut the whole light thing down with a press of a button. Lights draw almost nothing - 12.6 volts when I turned them all on - 12.5 about 4 hours later.
