Got my rod holders in, will install later this week. Rafted up and overnighted with some friends.

Maintenance. Pulled all 32 bolts going through my T-Top, cleaned the top with alcohol, added 5200, replaced the bolts. Also redid the mounting plate for my VHF antenna as it was never through-bolted only screwed through the fiberglass. Too much flexing. Also had to rewire the anchor light. Checked and tightened all screws and bolts securing the console and T-Top to the stringers. Busy day!

I don't know where you are, but it is officially too hot to be doing maintenance where I am! From here on out if it isn't mission critical it is waiting until October.

Did another run up the coast for an overnight. Was on the hook during a serious blow 30kts with gusts significantly above that, which was pretty intense for me. Clear sky’s, The Milky Way all blown up and glorious at least made it beautiful while sitting at the helm wondering how that anchor and line were holding me so securely.

And we we got some glassy moments to ride some waves too.

Today I installed two brand new 6" deck plates.

In other words, I cut two 5" holes for new speakers only to realize it's impossible to fish speaker wire to or from that spot

Well,.... yesterday I returned from a ten day trip to the Jersey Shore (Sandy Hook area).
300+ miles round trip, 62 year old boat, 62 year old engines, charts and a compass (no electronics at all),.... what could possibly go wrong. Lol

Got to the boat this morning ready to fish, thick fog. Took that as an opportunity to prep for my 4G Broadband radar installation so getting fogged in wont happen too often.

Got down on my knees and thanked the Lord for urging me to install a Rule 200 bilge pump, eventhough I already had a smaller Rule that did what it was supposed to do. The Rule 200 kept my boat floating after launching without the transom plug in, and kept it floating long enough to get the trailer back under the boat, haul it out, and get the transom plug back in.

Sunburn forced me to learn how to use an unfamiliar tool & make a sunshield for the sandbar. $45.00 & a slight headache later, this was born:

Picked her from the shop after the repower. She's getting launched tomorrow after work. Now I'll finally be able to see what all my new electronics can do. Garmin 8612xsv, radar, Panoptix...

Added to my fleet. Picked up a 2007 Parker 2320 SL from a six pack guide who is stepping up to a 2520. Boat is pretty clean with a really nice Raymarine system. Have some wiring that I am cleaning up and just finishing installing downriggers but I'll have her out killing salmon soon.

Took this garbage off the trailer. Not sure why the previous owner thought that electric brakes were a good idea.

Also bought $380 worth of tires, and $250 worth of new hubs.......since the hub is integrated into electric brakes. Going back together, sans brakes, tuesday AM. Also all new wiring & lights. Thankfully have a shed out back at work I can do all this under.
