Went to Judge Yachts and officially decided to repower with a Honda outboard today.

Mine is sitting at bobs boat trailers waiting to see if i need a bow stop installed or if its even worth investing in the old trailers. May end up with a new one.

Ran offshore with the wife and kid to go get dinner, picked up a few sea bass and some mangs. Dinner was soooo good. God I love Florida.

Changed lower units from 4.80 to 5.44HD lowers. Will hurt my top speed a little bit, but should be way more reliable

Uncovered it yesterday. Started tinkering to get ready and called the painter to get on the schedule.

Just ordered brand new Pompanette helms cushions for my Wellcraft from Steve at Lost Bwana Outfitters. Found him on another thread where another reader complemented his knowledge and service...I found the same great outcome working with him, Thx Steve!

Cant wait to yell at everyone who tries to sit their sunscreen'd ass down on them!

Always looking for more storage on the CC.
Assembled and installed a storage box under the leaning post seat cushion that I also installed hinges on today in order to flip it up.
Looks like I’ve got room for two more on the ends.

Little boat, big job. Been very aware of a spongy deck in my now 22 year old Maritime Skiff 14'. Had no idea it was as bad as I found it to be.

Started last week removing the deck & digging out the very wet foam. 6 days of a few hours a day of careful cutting & digging, about 8 large trash bags & 250# of wet foam later, I am about ready to start doing some glassing in preparation for the new deck

Poor little boat. It has been sitting, neglected but fully covered, in my backyard since Sept 2017.

Angry

Spent 3 hours messing around with the Lowrance point 1 placement to try to eliminate the radar interference which was causing my heading to go crazy at night when using the radar......what a pain in the behind! Only spot was 3 feet away to starboard side....lots of duct tape wasted today....leaving the original hole in the t-top and just going to run the cable across secured with zipties.....

Pulled wires back up to the E box and the antenna cable back down the other leg, hooked everything back up and got the serius xm wired back up too.
Oh and finally ran the stereo memory wire correctly so now it holds the preset channels, this has only taken 5 years to accomplish
Off out for some much needed SWT tomorrow

Installed a couple of these after finding them on the great deal thread.

https://www.hodgesmarine.com/Lumitec.../lum101141.htm

I really didn't need them, this dang website has me spending money. But, it was a fun project I got to do with my daughter and the lights sure are pretty.

Story here, 2016 zuki140df, telltale clogged, took the front plastic cowling off blew out the undersized tubbing to dislodge sand. Works great took about an hour.

Over the past few weeks I put in a NMEA 2K network, hooked up my MFD displays, the fuel sender and engine and swapped out the old gauge for a fancy new one. I also added a new Fusion Stereo.

Spring is here in S.C. So is the soft crabs, horse shoe crabs and cobia not far behind! I love the low country!
