Angry

Spent 3 hours messing around with the Lowrance point 1 placement to try to eliminate the radar interference which was causing my heading to go crazy at night when using the radar......what a pain in the behind! Only spot was 3 feet away to starboard side....lots of duct tape wasted today....leaving the original hole in the t-top and just going to run the cable across secured with zipties.....

Pulled wires back up to the E box and the antenna cable back down the other leg, hooked everything back up and got the serius xm wired back up too.
Oh and finally ran the stereo memory wire correctly so now it holds the preset channels, this has only taken 5 years to accomplish
Off out for some much needed SWT tomorrow

Installed a couple of these after finding them on the great deal thread.

https://www.hodgesmarine.com/Lumitec.../lum101141.htm

I really didn't need them, this dang website has me spending money. But, it was a fun project I got to do with my daughter and the lights sure are pretty.

Over the past few weeks I put in a NMEA 2K network, hooked up my MFD displays, the fuel sender and engine and swapped out the old gauge for a fancy new one. I also added a new Fusion Stereo.

Spring is here in S.C. So is the soft crabs, horse shoe crabs and cobia not far behind! I love the low country!

The battle rages on. The destruction phase of deck replacement of my Maritime Skiff 14 is over, I think. Total weight of soggy foam removed came to 315#.

So far 1 1/2 gal of resin & about a 4'X8' worth of biaxial cloth have gone back in to reinforce the stringers & compartments which are sealed under the deck.

No foam going back in. I am going to pack a bunch of plastic bottles instead of foam. They won't soak up water. No plywood deck either. The boat should be good for another 22 years.

Yes, it’s Alligator Reef Lighthouse. I took that pic of our boat there on Saturday, March 2nd ... it was completely flat that day. Here is a link to the 6 lighthouses of the Florida Keys

I have thought about using empty water bottles as well, but there has to be a reason manufactures do not do this. 2liter bottles might be better. They are very durable!
