I looked at it in the marina while driving over the bridge!

26' Pacemaker- Last week I pulled the batteries so that I could put them on a trickle charge. Normally I charge them in the boat but we do not have any power in the yard due to the damage from hurricane Sandy. I sprayed down the engine and all electrical connections.Winterized the head, put in damp rid to absorb moisture in the cabin.
This week I tried to remove the prop as it is in need of a balance and clean up. I do not have the proper tools so we will let the yard handle that chore. I cleaned and waxed the sides. Made a list of to do's to get ready for the spring.

Gazed at it longingly as I left for work and then put far too much money into the truck that pulls it. Looking forward to getting the boat bloody this weekend though!

I dreamed of being on it. Other than that she`s tucked away in the hangar.

Today? Took the generator cooling system (20kw Onan) apart to clean and refurbish, exchanger, FW pump, the works. Adjusted the genset valve lash too. Added a couple coats of varnish to the after deck teak & oak floor as part of refurbish project. Admired cool new stainless steel hatch we put on foredeck this week to replace crapped out old fiberglass one, more of a project than it might sound. (Hatteras 56MY). Busy boat day! Yesterday too, but you asked about today....

After a series of storms came through with high winds I drove over to the storage yard to see if I still had a boat cover.

Picked mine up in the pouring rain from having engines serviced, and bottom painted/hull waxed.
I just finished detailing it (compound & wax) before I took it to the boat yard, and when I got home I noticed the boat is covered with what looks like water marks, except they are a pale blue color, and they wont come off with just a quick wash, not good, bwaaaaaaa!

Looked at it floating in the backyard. Realized the neighbors cat must of walked around it as there are paw prints from the stern to the bow and then back down the other side.

I cut the old steering cable and tried to drive the steering arm out. No luck I'm going to have to break out the BFH to get this thing out. Or replace the steering tube with a new SS one.

Catchem up!!!!!

Looked at it and thought about how much more often I would take a ride in a supercar if I had one instead of the boat. Anyone selling a Gallardo or Modena?

Threw an extra 30 gallons of gas in it for the weekend. The striper run is on, but, they are still a ways south. Will need the fuel to run a little further!
