No phone while at helm. You could hit floatsam or crabpot bouy. Ask me how I know.

Removed the Bimini top, deployed it by hanging it from tractor grapple, washed it with Spray 9 and waterproofed it. Last time we got caught in rain it was like being under a shower. Gonna clean the deck Bimini fittings and put it back on......

Did you use a sealant around the new panel?

I know. Shame on me. Stepped onboard, unlocked the door & went inside the cabin for the first time in 10 months. Put freshwater aboard in preparation for a good cleaning which it has not had in a very long time. No power where it is stored so need to install a battery. Still have a gel cell that I bought in 2001 that tests good.

Been a busy marine week.Last week I gave my hard dinghy the first thorough going over in 28 years. Minor glass work, 5200 the rub rail back on, rebedded oarlocks, painted inside, waxed outside & painted bottom. Good for another 28 years now. Won't be me doing it again.

Replaced anchor and outrigger lines this morning before it got too hot. Scrubbed boat in late afternoon and took it downtown for dinner this evening. Fishing tomorrow morning.

De-winterized the engine and got another coat of primer on the new parts of the interior, and epoxied in the second-to-last section of deck and threw the batteries on a trickle charge (although they test full anyway). Will test fit and finish the deck tomorrow, and probably refill the outdrive with oil, and sand and prime as much as possible.

found crack in main t-top tubes where the outrigger support is welded
of course, the wiring for everything in the e-box runs thru the port side tube

disconnected and pulled the wiring out to prep for welding then figured out that I can reach with the tig, (torch hoses too short)

ordered a new tig torch with 25' hoses and hopefully can get these fixed next weekend

I am going to use some silicone once it's in there for good.

I am just not sure on which color, white or black.

Refilled the outdrive as planned. Also discovered crack in the top cover, so I replaced that with the top cover on the spare leg. In fact I think I'm going to end up swapping the whole leg because once I opened up the spare, I realized it was in absolutely mint condition.

Epoxied in the last of the deck, and threw a layer of quickfair on everything that's getting faired on the interior.

Should have it in the water this week. No snow left on the ramp so now's as good a time as any.
