He'll if I had known that I would have gone and found her today. I figured they would have snuck out just ahead of this system.

That's awesome! And a great bluewater ride to boot.

For comparison, my 28,000 # 41' Tiara Open with the most economical engines (3208 435 hp cats) gets apprx. 3/4 mile per gallon at cruise.

That's almost 3 times as good on a 4' longer boat!

Default Update

Al and Ginnie got as far as Vero Beach, Fla. when Ginnie's knee replacement began to bother her.

So Ginnie and Bo, their dog, returned to North Carolina by car, and Al had a friend come down to help him bring the boat home.

They got in today.

Round trip from Morehead City to Vero Beach and back to Morehead City, 636 gals of fuel.

The Flow Scans were dead on the money to the gallon.

So mile marker 202 to mile maker 952 and back to mile marker 202.

1500 miles on 636 gals of fuel, or 2.36 miles per gal, not bad for a floating house.
And that was with some running of the gen set.

Not to bad for a floating house.

Adventures of the coolest boat on the planet
With the luckiest folks in the world.

One day maybe.

I will most likely do it in a Mainship 39 or an Endevor 43 that is several years old.

I admire the boat you have and the simplicity of the build.

Fantastic numbers, sorry to hear about the discomfort but I trust they will have many successful trips in the very near future.

Wayne, I am most overjoyed by the fact that after a 2 month trip, I have no punch list to tend to, not 1 item.

However, I will make a foray to the Springer's house and give the old girl a once over.

Now that is something to be proud of and quite a testament to you sir!!!! In fact, I think that is unheard of on a boat!!!!

Well, I am sure if I go and look around I will find something, but they have nothing for me.

I do know of one thing I have to fix, one of the solar panels didn't get drained right for the winter and froze, and we found it the day she left when we were putting the solar water heater back on line and the one panel leaked.

Got to change out the panel and change the system to drain it.

Buck:

Hope you are feeling better. Had the pleasure of seeing the Silver Voyager last week at a dock you are famliiar with. She's actually better looking in person than in the pics. Congrats to all of you again on a fantastic build.
