Default Hydra-Sport 230WA prop suggestions

I bought the boat new in 2002, it currently has a 250 Evinrude Ficht and a 14.5 x 19 prop. Turns 5600 at WOT.

The boats ride has left a lot to be desired to say the least. When I first started running the boat it had a constant tendency to porpoise and the boat was wet and pounded hard in light seas. I installed 18 x 12 trim tabs and was able to get the porpoising somewhat under control. I then had my mechanic raise the motor 1 hole. This reduced the pounding, but brought on a ventilation issue in even light seas which limits my ability to up-trim. The boat is clearly bow heavy. The bow is alway plowing into oncoming seas. I'm hoping changing the prop to something with more bow lift can help.

After 10 years I really don't want to even run the boat anymore. I'm not sure if I'm expecting too much from a boat this size as I really have nothing to compare it too. The only time I have a decent, dry ride is when it's literally like glass, or I'm heading into a strong wind. There are times I'm getting socked when theres barely a 12" bay chop. I'm moving up to a larger boat in a few years, but until then I need to try and improve the ride characteristics of this boat. If anyone has any suggestions I like to hear them. Thanks.
