Default THT Sponsors Thread - Sponsors check in.

Not sure if this is really the forum to post this but I want as many sponsors as possible to see it. Its also good advertising to BECOME a THT sponsor so maybe it will be OK here? Maybe us sponsors could even get a sticky?

Dear fellow THT sponsors

There seems to be a growing number of small business owners (and some large) who have become THT sponsors. This has been a great venue for me and in addition to getting exposure to the THT membership, ads I run here in the classifieds get very high Google page position when doing a search for the particular product. If your not taking advantage of that, you should!

I wanted to open up conversation on how we could help each other. I have a page on my website that is dedicated to other marine industry vendors, manufacturers, etc. where I have listed companies who I feel provide great products and service. That page has seen about 6,000 hits since I started the website a year ago. I simply take the business logo and make it a link to their website.

http://www.boatingflagpoles.com/Our_..._Websites.html

This is something that many of us could do (as long as we are not competing over the some products!) and is FREE...and I like free stuff!

The second idea I had is for THT. I think it would be nice for forum members to be able to see a list of THT sponsors. Maybe it could be divided into categories or just an alphabetical listing with a short description of the business and a link to their website?

Any other suggestion, thoughts, wise cracks....always appreciated

If any of you have other suggestions, please post them up. Maybe some of you are very good at SEO's and could offer some suggestions. i use Google Analytics and Google Labs search word tool to develop my SEO's and would be happy to share how it works although I am not an expert by any means.

Discuss....

THT sponsor here!

Thanks Mr. D for putting me on your website. I am currently having my site rebuilt and I will be including a "friends in the biz" link page and with absolute certainty you will be at the top of the list.

Like you I owe the fine members of THT for my business. It was the members of THT that got me to get into this. I am thankful every day for that.

Once my new website is complete I think will run a special for THT members.

I always check with THT sponsors before a purchase, if they get close in price I do business with them. All have been super positive experiences and generally I pay the same or save a bit of money.

I think this is a great idea. I'll send a request over to development and have a page added to my site as well. I owe a lot to the guys on THT. Some of my best friends have come from here as well

I agree, This is a great idea. I been a sponsor for almost two years and The response is great. Our site was just revamped and we also upgraded by adding an online store. We also have a partners page and if you want to be added to it dont hesitate to ask.

You guys all have great logos and thats an area where i have fallen short. Now that i have expanded into other products (just came out with a new one today) I wish I would have chosen a different name for my business and website. I just didnt see it going in this direction.
I do have an idea for a boating website (not a forum) that will be pretty unique and I need to get working on that.

The post was for sponsors. Your not one. You seem to have confused sponsors with spammers.

I think they are but like Carrigan, they dont have it listed. I think you can opt out of having it listed and some prefer it.

Apparently Google Labs was shut down
They had a great tool where you could enter a word or phrase and it would show you how many times it was searched for and give a list of similar and the number of searches for those.
