Default My new baby!!! 42' Uniflite

So pumped!!! Just closed on my new boat, 1975 42' Uniflite Sportfisher (pre-blister) Twin 903 Cummins naturals with 2900 hours after a complete overhaul. Boat has 750 gal of fuel 3 bait tanks incuding 3 large bait slammers built into the swim step. This is my first diesel and twin screw boat so I have a lot to learn. And yes I already know that the 903's are old motors and are slow and parts are hard to find for them.

Congrats! Never fear, I had a 1976 Hatt 42 with VT903's and they were bullet proof for over a decade. Have fun!

Congrats.....VT 903's are bullet proof, but slow,

I had a '67 41 C Hatteras with them before repowering it with 3126 420 HP units, wished I kept the VT's.....

Sauer,

Congrats,

Up here in the NW Uniflite's have a great reputation.

Spill some albacore blood on her deck soon.

Nice pic at Pyramid Cove. See you out on the water. We are at SCI fairly often.

Thanks for all the responses... The boat is slipped at Sunroad harbor island right now. Any maintenance tips for these 903's? 100 hour or 200 hour service?
