Was letting the kids climb on the hardtop and jump off yesterday while anchored. One of them put his hand on the radar cover when boosting up which resulted in a 4 inch crack.
Any problems with this? Not sure if the cover is just for protection or if it actually serves with regards to operation of the radar. I didn't bother to turn it on to test it afterwards but am now wondering if I need to replace the cover or at least try and fix the crack.

You need to fix the crack or replace the cover. If water gets in your radar unit will be trashed.

The radar will probably still work, but not for long as soon as it rains or you get some good spray on it. I would attempt to seal it with some type of silicon until you can find a replacment cover.
