I thought memorial day was the day when all the boats sitting under the oak trees were dragged to the ramp and put in, to allow numerous attempts to get the motor to run??

We haven't thought about boating on Memorial Day in years...
It's like going out drinking with all the amateurs on New Years...why bother??

I live in New England & it's going to be the best tomorrow (Saturday) I'm boating everyday this weekend for sure! Just received my brand new Seaway 24' on Thursday. I can avoid the "knuckleheads" w/o an issue! We pay to have a boat, so screw the idiots & have a great time!

I'll be out doing plenty of drinking, cigar smoking and carrying on, however,I have a designated Captain, whoever is assigned to RC "Oasis of the Seas". I just hope it's not an Itialian hot shot with a penchant for doing nearshore island fly by's and I should be good.

Just put the boat in today.. we will be going out, but our hot spots aren't close to where the idiots are. Might go sharking a few miles out to get rid of the weekends/crowds.. I'm a local, gtf out of my way. Wish I had a microphone.. I would have a great time.

Just had 200 gallons of fuel delivered. You bet your asre I will be out there. Some of you guys are such babies. Lots of boats are still sitting in the boat yards. Just took an evening cruise on the north of the Barnegat Bay in Little Toot and almost no boat traffic. Just a couple of jet skis.
What a bunch of girls.

Watched one doing a dress rehearsal at a boatramp in LA a couple days ago. Backed a sparkley bassboat down the ramp, low wall on the side. Over the wall the wheels on one side go with an almighty crash.
Ding Dong at the wheel does not even get out to have a look. NOOO. He powers back up the ramp till the wheels wrench over the wall like nothing happened.
I'm in Galveston now. Gotta find me a nice shady tree to sit under at a busy boat ramp to watch the fun.

Hell yes. I love boating, not insanity.
