Default Idiots at weather.com

They came up with a new weather page and don't show barometic pressure (a key weather indicator). Don't even see a way to get it (by changing preferences) on the new page..... but they do show snowfall....very valuable in May .

Well, barometric pressure generally falls when it snows so you should be good to go with just that. I know it's all I need here in South Florida

Are they idiots or simply ignorant?

It is strange that their degreed (I assume) meterologists do not know the difference between heat and temperature.

I've been using Intellicast. At least you can get an Iso Bar map to look at and figure what the winds are going to be doing in your area over the course of the next several days. I haven't been able to find an Iso map on weather .com or wunderground in a long time.

*"Idiots", eh? Well , gosh , since this is a boating forum , maybe they figured anyone here with a boat would check their handy Boat & Beach linked forecast & observations:

Yeah, I know....they told me to go to "aches and pains" to find barometer since apparently the pressure affects headaches, joint pain, etc.
It's just frustrating when the change and take stuff away. Dew point now rates higher.....
I called a TV station once when they stopped giving barometer. They said most people that aren't meatyurologists don't know what it is or care. I don't think that's a valid assumption.

I like that boating & beach forecast link....I'll just go there...thanks.

Take 10 people you know that don't hunt or fish and ask them what phase the moon is in. 9 won't know. 8 won't even know what moon phase means...
They dumbed down the weather by removing something most people wouldn't know about. It's the way the country is headed.... Dumb and dumber.

Well, at least they still give the weather on Weather.com

within a year or two, I predict it will just be video clips of bad weather you can click on.

Weather.gov is the way to go. Plus you get to see your tax dollars at work. Where do you think those other sites get their data from, anyway?
