Default Speaker system recommendation

Hi guys, looking to replace the speakers in my boat. It has 2 under the cuddy, 2 out by the driver seat and I would like to add 2 of the single tube sytle ones on my aluminum tower facing the rear of the boat. I am going to be in salt water so somehting that is very waterproof would be ideal. I dont want to get the ones that mount on the tower that you have to take down if it starts to rain. The speakers currently do not have a amplifier. what are the thoughts ? Do I need a amp? please let me know what you guys are thinking.

Thank you,

We sell marine audio on our website from all brands. We have single speakers that you can combine as well as all-in-one tower speakers ranging from 25 watts to 700 watts. Depending on the wattage you chose you will or will not need a speaker depending on your radio's output rating. We also sell the amplifiers and deck systems. All of our marine audio products are water tested to withstand marine conditions so no worries there.

Let me know if you have any questions.

WetSounds, JL Audio, Rockford Fosgate, and a few others make true marine speakers and tower configurations. WetSounds is the leader in tower set ups since they started in the wakeboard boat market. WetSounds also has many models to choose from while JL and Rockford are limited in their options. I would recomend an amplifier for sure, but if you are totally against it the only set up I would recomend would be the WetSounds salt water 65 series speakers. they make a tower set up in this series and have matching speakers for inside the boat. Check out our site and PM, email, or call us if you have any questions. Thanks
