Default Advice needed... Robalo R220

Looking to pull the trigger on an 08 R220 with a yammi 250 4-stokes with 140hrs..

Dealer maintained with records
Yam warranty till 08/12. No YES
GARMIN 4210
Full boat and motor cover
Fiberglass T-Top
Aluminum trailer with surge brakes

Boat really does look well maintained. Just wondering what a fair price might be for this rig. And if anyone has performance numbers for this set up. Been doing a lot of searching on the net but have not found much..

Thank you guys and happy holidays to all

You should be able to get a ballpark value for the jboat at the attached site.

http://www.nadaguides.com/Boats/2008...TER-CONSOLE-22

As for the Robalo brand you will be satisfied with the boat. I have had mine for 5 years and have had no problems with the jboat. The quality of the construction, hardware, vynal, pumps, electrical etc. etc has all been top notch. That Yamaha 250 is a brute and with only 140 hours is basically brand new. It will be all the power you need and you should get several thousand more hours out of it. Just realize a boat is a boat and my experience may not be your experience. You may find someone on here that has had nightmarinsh experiences with Robalos. However, you are going to find people with nightmarish experiences with Grady and Contender also. As boats go, Robalo is a well build, quality boat. They are heavier so you will get a pretty good ride. Good luck with the pricing.

Ive rode on robalo's before they will beat you, but if seen some pictures of the new ones and it looks like they have a fairly deep V compared to older models, if you start looking at older models, just to let you no what youre getting into its one wet and miserable ride. but the news would actully be intresting to look at. another alternative would be a sea fox.

Funniest thing I have read in a long time. Sea Fox is like a Yugo. Just do a search on here to see how crappy they are. You are comparing apples to oranges.

What are they asking for the boat?

I would say anything at $34K or less would be a very good price.

You Robalo guys sure are sensitive (in my best gay voice)!!!!!

I love the new Robalo's! they look sweet! Never ridden on one, but I have ridden on my Seafox many times and I think the ride is great on it and I am still alive. I agree, I would not compare the two, especially in price! The Robalo is way overpriced for what you get. I would buy a Yellowfin first.
