Also installed these scuppers and have to say they work perfect. Don't look to bad either with them being black. Have to say tho i don't think the boat sits any lower then it use to with 225 Optis on it. I could tell no difference in handling between the 225 and 300. Can not wait to get the props right!

You're going to have to let us know how that NXT picks up birds. I've got my eye on getting a few for our boats to chase down the tuna.

I have been following this since the start of the project. Your killing me with all the pics of all the pieces of the puzzle. Can you take some pictures of the boat completed?

I have been following your post as well. Learned a lot... thx.
I have same boat as yours and switched to suzuki 225 from 225 opti. I run 3x16×23 suzuki props. They have been great with top end in mid 50s. Burn about 15% less fuel as well. You will be happy with new props.

Coastal with the gear ratio of those motors I think your rig would handle 26P props. Not that you need or want 70 MPH but if it would turn the 26's you would end up with "over square" performance and incredible economy in the 30 - 50 MPH range.

Congrats on getting it wet.

The boat is still at the place getting steering squared away. Will be back mid week hoping to go on
Mayden voyage this memorial weekend.

Love those seats, where did you get them?

Turned out the bulk head fittings were installed very poorly. (Not tight at all). So that was my steering issue, it's fixed now and tight. So wrapping everything up tonight and will be running it all weekend with the new 26p Suzuki props, so now we'll see what she runs!

Not sure how I missed this thread. I just went through every page, quite the journey. It must be very rewarding to see all of your blood, sweat, tears and $'s transform this boat. Well done.

Great price considering the time, money and effort that went into it! Quick question, why are you moving it so quickly, seems like it was just completed?

Sorry guys been slammed busy. We have decided to put the boat up for sale. As we have our eye on another boat. We are wanting to moving up a bit. There is a boat locally here that has influenced the decesion. Someone will get a great boat that a ton of work has gone into! If it sells we are moving up if not we will run the hell out of it! We're headed outta town on vacation for 2 weeks see what happens when we get back. If ya know anyone that wants a killer fountain let me know!
