Coastal,

I plan to move my batteries to the same spot in the console. Is that fiberglass shelf strong enough to mount the batteries to, or did you beef it up at all?

It appears to be plenty strong, I thru bolted the battery trays to it. There placed all the way to the side as far as possible so they have plenty of "meat" below them. Really worked out very well.

Coastal, I bet if you accidentally made a few ***extra*** gauge covers and switch panels you would find a few buyers here.

Sorry fellas, no progress right now. We are absolutely burried at my shop with other work and it's been freezing here. So she is stored inside for now, will get some time to finish her up 2nd week of March. Will be water testing by end of March.

Looks great. What is the insert made of? Do you have another cover piece that goes over the electronics?

I custom made the insert out of coosa and fiberglass. Right now it's just black primer, I still need to paint it (black/gold pearl) I do not have a cover panel just yet, but i will probably have a black acrylic cover made for it at some point, just when its sitting. It's going to look slick!

Where did you get your rub rail. Was in one piece or in sections. If you don't mind, what was the part number. I am getting close on my fountain and need to order.

The time is just about here! Planning on the first run at the end of the week. I got everything wired up, transducer is in, GPS in and everything else is a go. Just got the seats in. I have to have a frame made for the seats which I just ordered, but that will not hold me up from a test run. All my steering and trim tab parts come in Tuesday once I hook them up she's a go. Finally! I can see blue water (well I live in VA so I can see brown water! I'll take it)
