Sorry for your loss...or maybe not, depends upon if it was a boat that you had just gotten the way you wanted and loved or if you were looking to move on. Anyways, I have researched just about every cat out there and I have never heard of a Teknicraft. Do you have any pictures of it or anything about it, such as year, twin or single? Just a guess, but It could have been from the sea cat hulls that was made when they were switching hands, never know in the boating world. The hulls eventually ended up in production with World Cat and Sport Cat, but I'm sure there were several molds out there.

Ok, just googled it and this is what I came up with. http://www.allamericanmarine.com/cat...reational.html Looks like they were originally from New Zealand and most of their models were larger, much larger.

Yes......thats it.

I like that its;
1. aluminum
2. Kiwi designed...........they have great experience with Cat boats.
3. Hull is both combination of symmetrical and asymmetrical.
4. Looks like a roomy deck.......I like a cuddy cabin too(its heated!)
5. Boat is built in Northwest and looks like it can take tough conditions.
6. twin 4 stroke 115hps...........on the boat I found
7. not bad mpg........around 3mpg?
8. Hydrofoils?..............I know Bullshipper don't likie this......

Am getting OLD and like the idea of softer ride.......

Had a 22ft (Aluminum) Stabicraft............it was run over by a 42ft Commercial fishin boat
Saturday..........while I was in it....

Do you have any pictures of the boat? Only ones I saw were the "artist renderings" on the web site and curious as to what it really looks like. I can honestly say from their drawings that it doesn't look like the prettiest boat, but it does look like it could take some seas and keep you dry in the meantime.

Wow, now that boat has a tunnell, it appears that the gunnell height is 18" or less.

I'm a cat guy...I like them...I've owned them...I've fished them.

With that said...I also like American designed boats. That kiwi boat looks way odd to me. Don't like it.

cape_fisherman.....
I agree......the kiwi's are not much on looks sometimes...........but they have been doing Cats much longer than the US and have advanced the Cat design......read a lot about the asymmetrical hulls being more effective.

My Cat will need a cuddy.............like what I've read about the tibona cat...........
what happened to the Tibona Cat website?

I'll be 59 and retiring to my House in Oak Harbor Washington in a few...........so I'm looking
