Great build thread...missed catching on to it back in 2011.

Just think how many Stamas boats they could have sold with marketing like Aston Martin's 50 years ago!

Anything you would change from your re-build now a couple years later?

Who needs a stern light?

Wound up 100 miles offshore long before sun-up. You should see them in the big blue water.
A little light bling on your boat is nice.

I've got Chris's lights on the back of my boat. 3 years, I think it's been 3 years now (maybe 2), and they haven't quit yet. I only had 1 problem and it was my own fault. I had a new light within 48 hours. His customer service is beyond impeccable!

Did you get into any Wahoo out there? Have a few friends who have been tearing them up 80 miles ish due west of Sarasota.

I was dying to make the run this weekend but it's blowing something fierce. I wanted to leave around 5 this afternoon and fish through the night and troll at first light. Maybe in two weeks

The weather does not look good for the next few days.

We did catch the Wahoo last weekend. Nothing spectacular but they are there in good numbers.

Default Don't get in the way....

Shot ftom Cocoa.

Rockin on the East side.

The boat is back and fast. (and a little scary)

In a little chop it's really fast...........

Rebuilt the whole boat after the crash in Sarasota ( see photo). A few handling problems, but it should be back on top soon.

Took third out of 6 in Cocoa. The boat had what it took to win, but we slowed down and saved the expensive parts for the Sarasota race.

And I thought fishing boats were expensive.

The Phantom is back. No worse for the wear. with a new bullet in the chamber.

The motor hydrauliced when it crashed and destroyed a beautiful Mercury Racing 525. The deck was ripped apart, Smartcraft and all electrical was ruined including all the other computers. The Emco outdrive was in pieces. The trim tabs got torn off. All the communication gear in the helments was trashed.
Garmin took a swim and did not fair well either.

Boat ran 97.3 on the GPS last Saturday in testing. We are so trying to break 100.
Moving some weight around to find the sweet spot.
A few bugs to contend with, but ready to compete on the 4th of July race weekend in Sarasota.

Running fast is just the best buzz ever, except for fishing.....

Looks like it MUST require a loose nut behind the wheel to drive it competitive. A nice Wahoo by the way any more to show us ?
