Default What's Your Favorite and/or Most Used Equip Option?

I'm probably within a month of finishing everything I'll be doing to the boat for at least until December of this year. And of the several additions/improvements I've made, the auto pilot is by far my favorite option to date. I'm talking beyond the necessities. How bout' you guys?? What has been your best addition to your rig?

I'll second the windlass. There's no getting wet from pulling the anchor and you don't hesitate to move to a different spot because of the effort involved.

Autopilot. Might be windlass if I wasn't having to go that far.

You started it now. Can't wait to see this thread get derailed when people start posting about all the dangers of a portable generator on a boat, etc..... Yawn.

I love my windlass and autopilot, but the best- and cheapest- thing I ever got for the boat
was a nice cooler that has wheels and a handle. I can't park close to the boat, and having to carry bait, chum, ice, drinks.. was a pain in the neck.. and it also doubles as a seat. My center console doesn't have any rear facing seats, so when trolling you have to stand up to watch the lines.

Autopilot, for salmon fishing it's invaluable.
