Default 2004 Sailfish DC or 2010 Tidewater DC ??

What to buy??????

Option #1: 2004 Sailfish 20' DC with Johnson 140 4S w/ 100 hours

Option #2: 2010 Tidewater 20' DC with Yamaha 115 4S w/ 0 hours (closeout)

There is about an $8,000 difference in price. This will be my first boat, used in freshwater for family fun and some fishing. The Sailfish does have some electronics and a Bimini Top, the Tidewater of course has nothing unless I want to pay more to have it added.

I put a deposit on the Tidewater to hold it until Monday but some input would be appreciated because I'm not 100% sure.

Thanks in advance!!

The Tidewater may be a bit under powered.

Agreed. I would say the Tidewater is definitely underpowered.
What kind of shape is the Sailfish in?

From what I can see in the pictures the Sailfish is in pretty good shape. It is supposedly owned by an older man who never uses it so he is selling it.

I have a 19'6" TW, and love it...good luck with your choice.
