Seems like this would be a good place for Velcro.... easy open when needed in a hurry.

The better zippers are large, but they all should probably have silicon spray from time to time...

T-bags are very functional but if you are tall (I am 6'3) it can block your view so I had to take it down. If there is anyone in the Hampton Roads area that wants it let me know. I live on the Peninsula but work in Portsmouth.

The one under the top on my Hydra is a mesh material. It really helps with the mold issues in Fla.
Last boat had Sunbrella and it was nice, but don't leave the PFD's up there for to long before you take them out to breath.

Thumbs up

if you have a t top custom or not it is an integral space saver = pfds plus a few inflatable pfds and charts - all of my charts as back up and fun - plus the annual change in fishing reg sheets - so easy get one

I have a T-bag. I've gotten to where I think it's a stupid name and get tired of the stupid comments.

I had two T bags in 9 years. They do fade grey but the zippers last if you lube them like you should any zippers on the boat. I added nylon pad eyes all around under the hardtop so I could get the bag higher up.

I have a tbag (larger one). I have it strapped as tight as I can get it and it still seems to hang a bit and be just barely above my head. Other than that, it seems to be okay. Just wish it was more of a custom fit under the hard top.

Some hard tops are flat some are curved. Just add a few pad eyes, stainless or nylon and you can get it 3 inches higher.

A custom one that has some mesh for aeration is not very expensive from a good canvas person and will fit the best. You can make sure it doesn't hang too low, makes the most use of the area available and can match your boat.
I think the giant T-bag logo looks ridiculous and no matter how wrong this impression is, always makes me initially think the person running the boat is a douche. Sorry to offend those who have T-bags and I know this is wrong since most people just want top storage but I can't help it. I can't believe they don't make the bag without that name.

Had a t bag years ago. I did not like the way it looked on the boat. Thought is was a cheap distraction that sagged and was annoying. I had my canvas guy install a couple of pipes and canvas for a custom storage location on the rear of the t top. Much better solution.

Yea.. I like my CE Smith bag for the mesh velcro pocket (fits my paper charts nice) and the zipper front pocket (laminated cards of importance and Fusion adaptors) but I'd really like a more custom look that sits higher and further away from my line of sight and the top of my head.

Let's see the custom t-top storage solutions!

I am on my second T Bag and really do not care for it but it does keep life jackets out of the way but makes for easy access if needed.

Zippers are CRAP but really never open it that much

Also if you boat sits for a few weeks I have found that wasps like to build nests around them sometimes

Also as someone else mentioned I am 6'3" and it really hampers my field of view at times but not that bad just kind of gets on my nerves some but is only option I really have.

I have looked at the nets under the T Top over the leaning post but headroom would probably be an issue if it sagged at all

I bought a Stowmate bag from a member here and it seems to be a quality bag. No zippers. It uses velcro. A little pricier than some but I think it's well worth it as compared to most.
