Im considering a 24ft CC in Tampa Florida and i live in CT. what is the best/cheapest way to get the boat up here?
i was considering either shipping it or trying to rent a truck for a one way trip and trailering it up.

I just bought a boat in Fort Lauderdale and had it shipped on its trailer to Cape Cod. Email this guy he is great. He had my boat here a day ahead of schedule. Make sure the trailer tires berings etc are in new condition. I (he) had a flat on the trailer and the tires looked new. Uship for me was a hassle in knowing whether the company was good or not. This guys name came to me from this website, he isnt on uship. I would use him again in a second. John Settle is his name. js@cycleprousa.com email him he will call you. good luck

Highly recommend these guys. Interstate Haulers/Dotan Transport.
I was very impressed. Very professional and delivered as promised. Was even earlier than expected.
No one down this way will rent a truck to tow with. The only ones I found, would only rent to a company (commercial) and the rates were astronomical. 300+ a day for the truck alone. Too much liability in it I guess.
Good luck.
