Initial outlay $22,000.00 Boat, $2300.00 (I think) trailer. New Radar $1600, EPIRB $700, New Fish finder/GPS $550. New 5 blade wheel $550. Boat cover $1200.00. Do I need to go further? BTW I bought her 3 years ago. The initial outlay is nothing compared to what you spend each time you start looking around.

Might regret this but I will try

Original purchase price from previous owner 15 k (boat did have a lot of extras)

New combo ff/gps 1200----now out dated would like newer one

Trolling motor and batteries, chargers 1500

and the biggie NEW MOTOR F200 13000

Of course this does not count maint items and repairs but have been very happy with setup with new motor and boat is in great shape

Boat did come already with 1 downrigger and I added another and it also had outriggers and some misc items like vhf, gps, stereo (which I replaced)

Like stated let's not start with fishing stuff, that might cause a divorce if the Admiral reads this

Here's one of mine-
23' Chris Craft purchased new in 1971 for $6,750,
additions, replacements and repairs (including 2 full repowers) $47,120 (I have kept track of every expense on all my boats since bought) = $53,870; I think averaging $1,240/year is pretty good. The larger boats I have are much more depressing.

$3800 for my Floating Money Sucker with nothing but a old garmin fish finder. Anchor, rope, life vests.etc.etc trailer tires...etc.etc add another $1200. New garmin 440s about $725. Brand new suzuki $10000. Best part about it was it was my Wife that wanted the boat in the first place. She said for $3800 it was a good deal! Atleast I can blame her for having to buy a new motor! HEHEHE
