Default Boca Jim

Sorry, I can't remember the handle of the guy who has the 40' Jim Smith "Boca Jim" in Charleston. I'm curious to see some updates on that boat. Have you gotten it finished yet? Do you have more pictures? Would love to see the finished product.

It's here in Charleston. Right now it's at Wild Dunes C9 if you are in the area. I took a few weeks off after bringing it up from Miami and dealing with the leaky gas tank. Just started back on it this week. Right now I'm detailing the bilge so it's pretty torn up. Next is finishing out the cockpit. With this heat though, I might end up doing the A/C. The machinery, electrical, and electronics are all new. Runs at 25kts Cruise and 38kts WOT. 1.2 GPM at cruise 60GPH at WOT.

Tin Man, I live on IOP and would enjoy checking out the new rig. I have been keeping up with you on this site and would like to meet you in person. I fish on Bull Run the 42' Post in Shem Creek and would like to examin the guts of the boat. With a t-top in progress and the Megadock tuornament this week looks to be full, but I will volunteer my time and energy whenever. Drop a line and I will try and catch-up with you @ the marina.

C 9 is the third or fourth dock past the fuel dock right in the middle on the near side. It's another loaner dock so I'm not sure where or when I have to move. I'm usually there during the week. I tend to stay away on the weekends and holidays. This weekend we have our annual Fire and Rescue Fish Fry on Sullivans Island so the weekend is a wash. If you make it to the fish fry look me up. Ask for Chris Gypin or "El Presidente". I'm usually working the beer wagon.

Thanks for the update. My brother and Sis-in-law live in Mt. P, so I'll probably be down there sometime in the next few weeks.
