Default Scupper Flaps

Can somebody tell me the correct name for the rubber "flaps" that are on the outside of the scupper (rubber thing that keeps water out (sort of).

Thanks,
Pete

I've searched high and low on Google. I can find the whole assembly, but not the rubber only.

Mine has a "star" or a "cross" design. Sort of like a star with a ring around it... any idea on brand?

Thanks,
Pete

The rubber on my scuppers needed to be replaced this year also. I ended up buying a 12 x 12 inch sheet of 1/8 thick white rubber from Grainger for $8.00 and cut it to size. Mine are 6 x 3 inch openings. Hope this helps.

Perko sells the plastic ring with the flapper attached. This is not the whole scupper.

The one on the left is the bust one (obviously) (2" wide) -- the one on the right is 1 1/2" wide. Anyone know what that logo is on the left?

Thanks,
Pete

You can get sheets of rubber-" gasket material" at the auto store or plumbin supply places, then just trace your old ones out and cut then new rubber to shape and size. I saw the rubber in Lowes last night of 7.99 for a 12"x 12" piece over in plumbing.

That's what I'm going to have to do... Ugh. Thanks for the Lowe's tip.

Is this on your new boat? Call your dealer or Joel at Sea Hunt and have them mail you a few of them.

That should be Gemlux, but I would give a call to Joel also.

Yup. This is for the new boat. They were ordered when I picked up the boat (2-3 weeks ago) (the old ones were torn). After a few follow-ups calls and emails to Sea Hunt they sent me 4 replacements. Sadly, they were 1 1/2" not 2". Seems the 2" are on back order so I can either wait until they come in (no date given) or deal with it myself. I have to walk the line carefully since clearly I may need the mfg. support down the road. Joel and Jai have been great and I can't say enough great things about them. I think they have the best support in the world and wouldn't dream of buying anything other than a Sea Hunt. God Bless.

Just called over the Gem. I am starting to understand the problem. Gem no longer makes that scupper (2" round). So I have to guess that is making it tough.

I suppose I'll have to make it myself?

Default Gem Scupper Flapper

The flappers you described, are made by Gem Product Inc. ( Star in Oval) I just contacted them and they said they are warrant parts and are shipping today. Mine measured 1.75" and are for 1.5" scuppers.
