As responsive as the new owners have been to complaints I wouldn't hold your breath.

Just go to your control panel and update the options and change all the permissions so you can see pictures and signatures, pick your local time zone, etc.

no you don't - just click on the right - "Quick Reply"

Go to User CP and change all your preferences to what you want. Yes this is different than it used to be, but it is very similar to most other Forums that I read.

You don't have to quote. Just click the [post reply] button at the bottom of the page. That's where the emoticons are, too. (not as many and not as good, though)

Oh well, times change, things change and something else to get used to. Sure hate leaving my comfort zone of familiarity....

And is Wiley no longer associated with the new set up??

OK, where's all the emoticons??

By the way, taking the boat out in the AM to try some spots from our buddies at gpsspots

Hey there. My first post in the new format.

No, I haven't been part of any THT decisions over the past 2 years. And yes, this software will need some adjusting - but give it some time.... a lot of time, but IN time they should make it better.

As far as InletCam, it's not a boating site but more a cruise ship watchers site, so I cannot provide an alternative. And as to why I don't start another boating forum is due to a non-compete I am respectfully abiding too.

Hang in there guys.

I'm not bitchin' just observing. I trust that IB will work out the kinks.

When I use "Quick Reply" my post uploads in an instant. When I use "Post Reply" or "Quote" the green progress bar at the bottom of my browser takes forever and the post appears not to have uploaded. After a couple of minutes, I close it out and recheck the thread and my post is there. Same with Private Messages. It also happens when I change options and hit the "Save" tab at the bottom.

Did we lose the "Search Your Active Threads" feature?

Wiley, how long is your non-compete? Does it expire soon? Is it that you can't start a new forum, or is it so restrictive that you can't even be a part of one?

I mean really, seeing how things are going with the IB guys, there's a big hole ripe for the filling here----and not a Sand Bar kinda' hole either ;-) Hehehehee

This isn't the first time this web-site has gotten a face-lift. Relax. You'll figure it out like any other new site.
