Considerations while in a temp. slip?

Considerations while in a temp. slip?
Okay I think I've got a good idea on how to tie off using spring lines to keep from the boat getting beat up while in a slip.
If I can catch some live bait, I'll probably need to leave it in my livewell, livewell running.
Boat has shore power, I'll leave it plugged in to prevent the batteries from going dead.
Other considerations, thoughts, suggestions, etc?

I wouldn't keep the livewell running if you are not on or near the boat. I had a hose come loose and it was double clamped.
