Beautiful? I don't know about that, but it does look rather practical for NW fishing. Please tell me you were joking when you used the word beautiful. Not trying to talk trash here, it looks like a sturdy and practical NW style boat and it probably rides great, but I just gotta call you out for using "beautiful". come on now.

You could put air conditioning on it and then it WOULD be beautiful on a hot August day - here anyway.

not sure on price. I'll get the scoop and more pics from the show. I'm going there on Thurs....

Its 28' x 9'6"beam

Its set up for our style of fishing up here in the NW. So Im sure some of you in the SE wouldnt have any apprecation for this style of boat.

you boys bring up your contenders, and regulators, and head out on the ocean we have up here in Washington and then we'll talk about form and function..

That "HONEY" doing peek-a-boo in the bow, looks to be topless!!
That boat looks homemade, Chaps.

Hey, hey, now.....Nothing disgusts "ME" more than a Bling, Bling Boat. And I'm in Dixie. The home of BLING BOATS.
Oh an add to the list racing stripes, tuck & roll coushions, fake teak wood accents, and advertising wraps.

I think thats a beautifull boat practically speaking,it doesn't have the sexy lines that the fiberglass boats have but for a alloy its pretty nice and very practicall, has seating for six in the cabin with full walkaround fishing, its what I've been looking for for a long time
I tried talking to most of the fiberglass cat companies to build such a boat they all gave me that funny cross eyed look like I was crazy.
That boat has a lot more potential than just the NW it will make an ideal boat here in the NE as well

As far as price I don't believe its anywhere near $200K I've spoken with Andy at Maxweld about this boat at lenght and the quote I got was a lot less than the $200k I don't want to post it here since I was asked to keep it confidental

I'm giving this boat a real hard look since fiberglass is not an option with this layout

screw function, that's the ugliest thing I've ever seen. Life's way too short to own an ugly boat, much less pay 200k for it. WOW..I ...it's...well...you see...what happened was......I'm speechless

edit:if that's your boat---It's really nice and uh...purdy

No way that's the ugliest cat out there. The new Endeavor 48 looks like a mobile home with a construction trailer sitting on top for a pilothouse. At about $650K.

What's up with the two parallel spray rails? I'd be curious to know what centers the transverse frames are on.

Chuck, those aren't spray rails, thats a holdover from the Bristol Bay destruction derby salmon fishery all the builders up here still design around.

No doubt about it cats are hard to make look good and in aluminum its even tougher. This is as close as I've seen to a decent looking alloy cat. My Maxweld was OK but . . .

Yeah, that Moose looks good, and well should! Wonder what the gunwale height is above cockpit sole? Looks low. No way am I impartial but I like the looks of my cat better, I'll try to put up some recent photos and let the hard nosed THT crew be the judge.

Ah yes, the Salmon derby. Chaps I forgot. What are you running these days now that your big cat is gone?
