Mt wife is a birth doula, which is like a birthing coach for women in labor. She often works 36 hours straight and comes home exhausted. She wants to name our boat "After Berth".

I said over my dead body, but creative non-the-less.

Growing up, my parents named our boat the "Third Child" because they said it cost as much as my sister and I. My grandparent's cabin cruiser was the "Gear Up" (gear up for fun, gear up for fishing, gear up for family time, etc, etc). My grandfather was a pilot.

My old Robalo was named Anchored in Jesus when I got it. I promptly changed the name to Happy Hooker.

The boat sank the next season due to a really bad (and undisclosed) repair job from a run in with the jetti from the prior owner.

Ouch.

When I bought my boat it was named "Rock Bottom". I bought it at a REPO auction. I guess the guy hit rock bottom financially?

No, "Rock bottom" was what he ran it into right before he stopped making the payments.

I passed a boat at the gas station today- Reel Insanity. As I see it, that's a Reel Stupid name.

Thanks! It is my design and fabrication. My 475 lb brother validated the design when he used it to board the boat.
