A kinda "dumb" friend of mine wanted to name his boat "Loose Change" but instead he got "Lose Change" and didn't realize it for about 3 weeks...he actually thought it was spelled correctly.

Default "Rhumboogie"

In honor of the stars of a fair proportion of my childhood TV viewing- the Three Stooges- I named my 2000 21 Regulator "Rhumboogie". The Stooges have an episode where they are mistaken for tree surgeons and must travel to the "Isle of Rhumboogie" to find a mate for a "prickly persimmon tree" that is dying . . . nyuk nyuk nyuk

I think that a boat name should not only be catchy but also be a part of who the boat owner is. I own a Plumbing company and named my boat..

"ItsaDrtyJob"

I dont think anyone has this as i created it 10 years ago as an email.

other great names are

Thats what she said!

Lickety Split

Liquor Box

Weekend Warrior

Worst names are obvious lol

How about a local guy that walks on a loan for his antiques business, screws the local bank in the loan, leaves town for a few years and then had the balls to come back to town like nothing happened and names his boat "miss behavin."

Or a coworker that was a crooked stock broker that stole money from clients and named his boat "stickey fingers" because he was a huge stones fan....rofl.....

Worst name? Last summer I heard a boat hailed on the radio. I turned to my friends on the boat and asked, "Did I hear that correctly?" Yep, and we heard the boat hailed many times that day. At the dock, the boat in question happened to pull up right behind us. The name? My Neegas

I'm not kidding.

The best name I've heard in a while belongs to big, aluminum commercial seiner. The owner put some serious diesel engines in her and claims it's the fastest seiner in Alaska. The name? Shadowfax

Clever Name: Yard Yacht- friends who own a trailerable GW

Worst Name: ANYTHING Double Entendre (double meaning)- which are 99% of all boat names- I am guilty, had a boat named Bottom Knocker once.

2nd Worst: Sports names paired with Reel- Reel Nole, Reel Gator, Reel Dawgs

And why are sailboats all named Serendipity, Serenity, Tranquility- ad nausuem?????
